Electrical

Electrical work you don't have to think twice about

Electrical is the one part of a house where cutting corners is never worth it. It's also the part homeowners have the hardest time judging, because most of it ends up behind drywall.

We coordinate residential electrical work as its own project or as part of a remodel. You get one point of contact, a clear scope, and work that's permitted and inspected where required.

Electrical work is completed by properly licensed professionals where required. Before anything starts, we'll tell you exactly who is doing the work.

  • Coordinated with the rest of the projectOn a remodel, electrical rough-in happens at the right point — after framing, before insulation and drywall — so nothing has to be torn back out.

FAQ

Electrical questions, answered

Don't see your question? Ask us directly — we're happy to talk it through.

Are you licensed electricians?

Electrical work that requires a license in North Carolina is performed by properly licensed electrical professionals. Before your job starts, we'll tell you exactly who is doing the work, and it will be listed on your estimate.

Can electrical be added to my remodeling project?

Yes — that's one of the main reasons people come to us. We schedule electrical rough-in and finish work with the rest of the remodel so you're not coordinating separate contractors.

Do I need a permit for electrical work?

Many electrical projects do, especially new circuits, panel work and remodel wiring. We'll let you know what's required and make sure permits and inspections are handled.

When should I call about an electrical problem?

Breakers that trip repeatedly, outlets or switch plates that feel warm, burning smells, buzzing, or lights that flicker when appliances turn on are all worth having checked. If you smell burning or see sparks, turn off power at the panel if it's safe and call for help right away.

Can you install an EV charger or a generator hookup?

These are common upgrade requests. Both typically involve a dedicated circuit and a permit. We'll assess your panel and let you know what's involved.
